Industrial auto-tie balers operate under tremendous force, processing thousands of tons of material over their working lives.
Eventually, wear is inevitable.
The bale chamber, ram, wear surfaces, and other components experience continuous friction and loading every time the machine cycles.
When wear reaches a certain point, replacing individual components may no longer be enough.
That’s when a comprehensive baler reline can become necessary.
A reline can involve replacing worn steel and wear surfaces throughout areas of the baler, depending on the machine’s condition and design.

Depending on the machine, excessive wear can contribute to alignment problems, increased clearances, structural damage, abnormal loading, and damage to other expensive components.
That’s why experienced inspection matters.
Repair, Reline, Rebuild, or Replace?
Not every worn baler needs a complete rebuild.
Sometimes replacing several wear components is enough.
Sometimes the machine needs a comprehensive reline.
Other machines may justify a larger rebuild involving hydraulic, electrical, structural, and mechanical systems.
