For high-volume operations processing compatible materials such as OCC and paper, an auto-tie baler can dramatically change the workflow.
Material can be continuously fed.
The baler automatically cycles.
The finished bale is automatically tied.
When properly integrated with conveyors, air systems, and finished-bale handling, the entire process can become highly automated.

This can be an excellent fit when the customer needs a durable horizontal baler but doesn't have the material volume or operating requirements that justify an auto-tie.
Excel Full-Eject Closed-Door Balers
Then there are applications where full ejection changes the equation.
Excel offers full-eject and specialty closed-door balers that provide another option for customers processing materials where complete bale ejection and application flexibility are valuable.
This is particularly important with specialty materials.
Instead of trying to make a conventional machine handle an unusual application, we can evaluate equipment designed around what the material actually does.
Small Two-Ram Doesn't Mean Small Capability
Two-ram balers are often associated with enormous recycling facilities.
They don't have to be.
Excel gives BRT the ability to offer smaller two-ram solutions for customers who want the flexibility and advantages of two-ram technology without jumping directly into one of the largest machines available.
For the right operation, that opens an entirely different equipment category.
And When Production Is Serious...
Excel also gives us access to large, high-production two-ram balers.
These machines can make sense for demanding recycling operations processing multiple commodities and requiring significant production capacity and dense finished bales.
Again, the point isn't that a two-ram is “better.”
It's that it may be better for a particular application.
